PSF-ScSt Pure Silicone Fluid is a linear low viscosity PDMSSilicone Oil or
Polydimethylsiloxane(CAS #63148-62-9) that has a viscosity of5cSt (centistokes)
25*C.lt does not contain additives or solvents.
Pure Silicone Fluid 5cSt is characterized by its low viscosity(close to water), low pour
point, wide service temperature range, low V.T.C. (littleviscosity change at both low
and high temperatures), excellent lubricity, low surface tension(high spreadability).
high dielectric strength, and high damping action (meetsVV-D-1078“Silicone as
Damping Fluid"). It is the lowest viscosity that will notevaporate in an open system.
PSF-5cst is widely used as a heat transfer fluid and bath fluiddue to its low viscosity
and thermal properties.
PSF-5cStPure Silicone Fluid is inert to virtually all 0-rings,gaskets, valves and seals. It
is an excellent lubricant for plastic, rubber and foamsurfaces.
