It can be installed in a minimum amount of time with simple tools. It can be painted or applied over painted surfaces. 3M 8663 Tape and 3M 8663 DL Tape are constructed with a long-aging, solvent-resistant, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that is protected with an easy-release plastic liner.

3M 8663 Tape is a transparent tape available in three liner configurations:

• Single polypropylene liner on the adhesive side.
• Single skip-slit polypropylene liner on the adhesive side.
