Silicone Conformal Coating JTC108 is a clear, flexible coating ideal for protecting electronic circuits in higher temperature environments and applications requiring extreme flexibility.
This coating protects electric circuits against moisture, dirt, dust, and thermal shocks that could corrode, short circuit, or otherwise damage the electric components. It insulates against high-voltage arcing, shorts, static discharges, and allows traces to be put closer together helping with miniaturization. As well, it protects against thermal shock, and puts very little stress on components during temperature cycling.
Compared to typical silicones, this product is much easier to work with, and offers extended shelf life, a faster cure time, and it is easier to remove or rework. It is available in both aerosol and liquid forms, and may be applied by spraying, dipping, or brushing.
