ELDORADO PR-3451 PAINT REMOVER ELDORADO PR-3451 is a nonphenolic, ammonia-activated, viscous paint remover, particularly effective for removal of polyurethane and alkyd paints from aircraft surfaces. PROPERTIES 1. Nonflammable 2. Safe on aluminum, cadmium, magnesium, ferrous alloys, and high-strength steel. 3. Effective for removal of acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane, and most epoxy paints. 4. Low chromate content. 5. Contains no phenols. 6. Approved by or conforms to: MIL-R-81294D, Type I, Class 2, AMS-1375 USE Spray or brush PR-3451 onto surface to be stripped. Allow 20 minutes to 1 hour for paint to be loosened. Agitate to break remaining bond, then rinse with stream of water. Conditions of humidity and temperature will dictate dwell time. PR-3451 should remain in contact with the paint for as long as possible without drying. Clean stripped surface with a good cleaner to remove all stripper residues. PRECAUTIONS PR-3451 contains dichloromethane, it must be used with adequate ventilation. When application is made on a large-scale, full wash rack gear—consisting of rubber boots, gloves, face mask, and rubber clothing—should be worn to avoid contact of material with skin. If skin contact occurs, wash immediately with soap and water.
